Alvin Jackson, B.Sc., P.Geo.
Chairman and CEO
Alvin Jackson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He was the founding principal of EuroZinc Mining Corporation and was largely responsible for the acquisition of the Aljustrel and Neves-Corvo zinc and copper mines in Portugal. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of EuroZinc from 1999 to 2005.
Prior to EuroZinc, Alvin was exploration manager for Amoco Minerals/Cyprus Minerals in Canada, Norway and New Zealand. During his 30-year geological career he has been directly involved with exploration and pre-feasibility studies on two major gold deposits and one porphyry copper deposit, all of which subsequently became producers.
Joanne Yan
President and Director
Joanne Yan is President and a Director of the Company. She was Vice President of Apac Minerals Inc. from 1996 to 2005, when it merged with Golden China Resources Corporation and was one of the founding principals and director of CPAC (Care) Holdings Inc. until the company was purchased by Chartwell Master Care LP in 2005.
Joanne has approximately 15 years experience in managing venture companies and has played a significant role in the corporate financing and business development strategies between several North American and Chinese companies. She has also been a senior corporate executive with a number of publicly traded companies in Canada.
Christian Bué, Ph.D.
Director
Dr. Bué has over thirty years experience in the metals business, many of which were as a senior executive with Penarroya, where he was responsible for concentrate and metal sales and purchases around the world. After the merger with Preussag Metals, he became Executive Board Member in charge of 17 downstream plants in the galvanizing and die-casting areas of the business.
Christian was a former Vice Chairman of the International Zinc Association and the French Non Ferrous Metals Business Association. He was a Director of EuroZinc Mining Corporation before it merged with Lundin Mining Corporation in 2005. He obtained a Ph.D. in law and a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Paris.
Glen Dickson, B.Sc., P. Geol.
Director
Glen Dickson is Chairman of Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. Prior to this, Glen was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Cumberland Resources Ltd. Mr. Dickson is a professional geologist with over 30 years of exploration experience in several different countries. During the past 20 years, he has focused on gold exploration in a wide variety of depositional environments. Mr. Dickson has been instrumental in the discovery of two multi-million ounce gold deposits in Nunavut, Canada.
James Mellon, M.A.
Director
Mr. Mellon is a co-founder and a director of Regent Pacific Group Limited. James has over 20 years investment experience in Asia and specializes in the development and restructuring of internal investment vehicles. He has worked since 1978 in asset management with GT Management Plc, the Thornton Group, and Tyndall Holdings Plc. Mr. Mellon holds a Master's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
John (Ian) Stalker, B.Sc.
Director
Mr. Stalker is an international mining executive with over thirty years of mining experience in Europe, Africa and Australia. He has worked his way up from operational roles in the base and precious metals arenas to senior project development and director positions in some of the largest mining companies in the world. He is the former CEO of UraMin Inc. and a former VP of Gold Fields Ltd. He holds a B.Sc. in chemical engineering.
