Chief Financial Officer

Benedict Leung is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He is a Managing Partner of Leung & Company Chartered Accountants (Toronto). Mr. Leung has a degree in commerce from the University of Toronto and received his Chartered Accountant designation in Ontario in 1990.


Garnet Dawson, M.Sc., P.Geo.
Vice President, Exploration

Garnet Dawson is Vice-President, Exploration of the Company. Mr. Dawson is the former Vice-President Exploration of EuroZinc Mining Corporation, responsible for exploration in Portugal, as well as reviewing new opportunities worldwide. Prior to joining EuroZinc, he consulted internationally and held a number of positions with Battle Mountain Canada Inc., British Columbia Geological Survey and Esso Minerals Canada Ltd. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Geology from the University of Manitoba and a Masters of Science in Economic Geology from the University of British Columbia.


Weimin Fu, Ph.D.
China Country Manager

Weimin is China Country Manager. Weimin has explored and researched gold and base metal projects in China with Canadian junior companies, Chinese state companies and universities. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in geology from Kunming University of Science and Technology in China and a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology from the University of Quebec in Canada.


Paulo Caessa, B.Sc.
Shanchuan Project Manager

Paulo is the Project Manager for the Baoming and Shanchuan Lead-Zinc Project. Mr. Caessa has explored for gold and base metals from grass-root through to feasibility study for junior and mid tier companies throughout Portugal. Mr. Caessa holds a Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of Coimbra in Portugal.


Morgan Li, Ph.D.
Mining Engineer

Morgan is a mining engineering and computer programmer with over 10 years industry and research experience in China, United States and Canada. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Wuhan Institute of Iron and Steel Technology, and a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Mining Engineering from Northeastern University, all of which are in China. More recently, he obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Detroit in the United States. Dr. Li has published extensively on mining engineering in both International and Chinese journals and is co-author of a number of books on geotechnical engineering.
